If you were a coach, how would you stop Kobe?

I thought Lakers were going to lose that game, but it didn't happen that way. Farmar led the bench and got the momentum started and Kobe just wouldn't stop picking his spots to shoot.

Would you stick to one man per man defense? People keep saying make him a jumpshooter. Well, MJ believes that if the D gives you lemon make lemonade and that is what Kobe did.

I know about the morons that will be posting stupid responses and saying something like "kill him, injure him, or find a reason to arrest him." Those posts aren't even remotely funny so don't even try it. If you do post something like that, at least try to make it funny.

Quite honestely, there is no way to stop Kobe. The only way he'll can be stopped is if he does it to himself. Every coach and every player knows the only way to beat Kobe is to take his team out of the game. But he has evolved into such a phenomenal 'team' player that even that isn't too effective.

To answer your question, yes. I would leave one man on Kobe and tighten up the defense on the rest of the team. Rarely double team him. There is no way he can run full steam for 48 minutes, and if you can stop the supporting cast he will be forced to carry the entire scoring load which we all know does not win games (look at last season.)

And whoever said put Lebron on him must be joking. I dont know if you saw any of the Lakers/Cavs games in the past 3 years but Lebron can't keep up with Kobe. You're much better off putting Bowen on Kobe (although that obviously wasn't enough either)

I'm a LAKERS fan so I'm glad I don't have to worry about that though.
