What are some benefits of wearing platform/high heel shoes?
I have some wedges/super comfortable, cute "payless" shoes...(yea i know what you're thinking) what are the benefits and downs on walking around wearing heels/platforms daily? just curious..woudl it do anything for my legs..
Long term, you'd do more harm than good...you can get problems like hammertoes and bunions, as well as some nerve and tendon problems because you're putting more pressure on the balls of your feet. If you're planning to wear them all the time, switch to the cute ballet flats from time to time. Wedge heels aren't as bad on your feet compared to high heels (like stilettos) because your feet aren't so arched in them, which means less pressure on your feet and tendons.
The benefits of wearing heels, obviously are that they give you height and they make your calves look skinnier, so if the shoes are cute and comfy, go for it!!
